If you follow the retail/design industries on here, you’ve encountered a luxury trend where full or popup stores smother the consumer with experience overload. While I can understand the initial appeal/effort to spark onlooker interest, I suspect the effort eclipses the products themselves, leaving one far liklier to wander, awe, and leave.

That said, although I don’t personally subscribe to them, I encourage these stores to be more like Nike or at least, like the Nike I recently visited in Spain. Here was incredibly struck by how well they managed to strategize their interiors; each intended for a specific aim. From a sporadic neon palette that splashes important sale components to bright digital walls that adorn the entrance to draw interest, stores like these highlight the smartest strategy is often establishing the essentials and attracting accordinglyyy.
