PROJECT
Elements, a PBA Health magazine, was initially visually outdated, inconsistent, disconnected, and lacked the authority contained in its quality medical content. The imagery is what followed an identity streamlined to modernize, generate approachability, and install better trust in the pharmaceutical community. To view full 2023 issues, visit here.
PROCESS
After limiting color palettes to something more manageable/appropriate for a small magazine, and establishing styling profiles to optimize consistency and efficiency, I considered geometric shapes would be most timeless and practical for illustrative styles/patterns/decor, and unique photography composites to set themselves apart from the stale pharma competitors.
